Love In The Afternoon - Reading & Book Signing

with Sonoma County Authors Jean Wong and Alicia Hugg

Long time Sonoma County resident and educator Jean Wong, is a relatively new face on the writing scene, but don't let that fool you. The recipient of several awards for her original plays, poetry and short stories, Wong's first book, Sleeping with the Gods, promises tantalizing romantic journeys into love's mythical realm. Released in October, the book depicting love trysts between humans and mythical Greek gods, has already received positive critical acclaim both locally and abroad.

Alicia Schooler-Hugg, a nurse educator and former Op-Ed columnist, freelances for national and local print media, and has received three C. Everett Koop, M.D. media awards. The Sonoma County resident will read from her newly released memoir, Granny Does Europe: A Love Story. Stifled by a lifelong flying phobia, the author journeys through France, Italy and Spain with a match made in cyberspace, and finds that in touch with our spirits we grow, we soar, in touch with our hearts we love.
