Rivertown

Rivertown
Revival, The Greatest Slough on Earth Announces a Rising Tide in Community
Participation to support Friends of the Petaluma River.

The fourth
annual Rivertown Revival, The Greatest Slough on Earth, is hosting another whimsical
and engaging gathering of community experiences on July 20th from

East D streets in Petaluma, CA. This music, art and community festival will
have a $5 entry fee.

Rivertown Revival is a genuine collaboration
with many community forces joining

The entry
price for Rivertown Revival includes 5 stages of music, 34 musical acts, an
aerial trapeze artist, expanded Tween and Children areas, Art Boat Races, and a
newly added Revival Tent featuring sideshows and much more. All interested
parties should join us on Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/rivertownrevival
or visit our website: http://rivertownrevival.com/

In keeping
with the theme of community, we aim to keep our festival affordable. $5 is a
continued refrain this year, with $5 getting you into the event, buying you a
beer once you’re in, or if you’re so inclined, $5 can get you hitched at the
outdoor Hitching Post. All proceeds generated from the event are a straight
donation to The Friends of the Petaluma River and go directly into barn
restoration for the over 100 year old barn, now named The David Yearsley River
Heritage Center,” says Rivertown Revival’s director Kelin Backman.

In addition
to all the above goings-on, attendees can also enjoy: a wide variety of healthy
& delicious fare provided by a wide range of vendors, a Revival Tent
Medicine Show, an array of purveyors of fine apparel and wares, learning about
community resources, and just dancing in the dirt and having fun
with their friends and family.

This is
truly a wonderful grassroots Petaluma event!
