Free bilingual seminars on Healthcare Reform sponsored by Kaiser Permanente on Saturday, Dec. 14

The Affordable Healthcare Act (also known as “health care reform”) is bringing some big changes. It requires most people to have health insurance by Jan. 1, 2014. And by 2014, everyone can get health coverage, which means you, your employees, friends, and neighbors have new options for health care coverage.

Deciding on a plan can be stressful and confusing, but there’s help available. Get the answers you need to make better choices and understand how health care reform affects you at the free seminars sponsored by Kaiser Permanente on Saturday, Dec. 14 at 401 Bicentennial Way in Santa Rosa. They will be presented in English at 10 a.m. and in Spanish at 11 a.m. Reservations available now at kp.org/healthcarereform/event (drop-ins are welcome, but seating is limited).

These presentations are open to the public and designed to help community members understand how they will be affected by health care reform, decide on a health plan that is the best choice for them, and discover ways to get financial help, if they qualify. They can gain peace of mind to make a smart choice in a short time.

These free, bilingual presentations include complimentary refreshments and child care, the chance to meet Kaiser Permanente physicians, and access to enrollment appointments for health care registration (and possible federal financial assistance) via the Covered California online marketplace.
Now it’s easier than ever to get health coverage—no matter what. Please join us at these complimentary events.
