Having been "laid off" at 50+ years of age like so many other boomers, I entered the job market and watched for two years as younger, less experienced applicants filled open positions I could do in my sleep.
Last month, the Angel of Obvious appeared and smacked me up side the head. The angel told me to forget about working for the man because those days are long-gone. "Hire yourself." she said. "Do what you love." she said. "Go forth and share your journey with other boomers so they might do the same." she said.
"I don't have a crystal ball." I replied. "Where do I begin?" I asked.
"Make one." she said.
