A Surprise I Did Not Expect

Despite the tragic start of the Batman movie, the film is engaging and should not be missed.

In keeping up with the cultural trends that all people have experienced in the film world lately, I decided to go across the street and view for myself the movie that has been the center of this recent event in Colorado, Batman: The Dark Knight Rises.

Expecting to see something horrifying, I watched at the end of the second row, alone, a movie about a Super Hero that battles a villain, and in the end becomes the victor.

Now, I left the cinema feeling very surprised that the movie actually contained amazing actors, and that it held my attention for almost three hours.

I came to the conclusion that the horrific killings in Colorado really were centered around a deranged individual who decided to take vengenance out on the audience, perhaps not really giving the movie much thought at all.

The subject did dye his hair red, but perhaps that was just a move to make us all think he was insane, and somehow influenced by the film. It is a must see, however, it is a shame it has such a unfortunate event hooked to its name.

It is a terrible thing when people cannot attend a good piece of work peacefully in America, and it is a true shame that because of this one person this particular film will always be marked and remembered not for its well done plot and performances, but for an unstable individual that decided to take innocent lives for sport.
