Last Known World War I Veteran Dies

I have sad news to report-- the last known World War One veteran has died.  The passing of Florence Green, who served with the Women's Royal Air Force marks the passing of our last living link to any veterans who served in World War I. 

With the highly publicized passing of the last male, combat veteran, the world moved on and looked to the WWII veterans. Florence Green's service is a highlight to not only the women's services but also to the service of veterans who served in support of our combat soldiers.
