Mermaid Makes a Splash at Petaluma Pool

Rebecca and husband Jeff MacKay live in Portland, Oregon, where they make a living being pirates. Or rather, pirate artisans and re-enactors.
Jeff MacKay is the Master Hatter of Captain Jack's Pirate Hats, which since 2003 has been making high quality, handcrafted Pirate Hats in wool felt. Meanwhile, Rebecca MacKay writes and illustrates a series of childrens' Little Pirate Books and makes mermaid tails, like the ones she shows off here.
