1 Dead and 3 Injured After Head-On Crash Near Sonoma Raceway
The crash was reported after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
Update: The Petaluma Argus-Courier reports one of the people injured in the crash is a Mary Collins School at Cherry Valley kindergartner.

A head-on crash on state Highway 121 in Sonoma County Tuesday night left one person dead and sent two others to hospitals, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP officers responded to the crash shortly after 7 p.m. just north of the Sonoma Raceway near the Viansa Winery, the CHP said.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene, another was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital and another was taken to Queen of the Valley Medical Center, the CHP said.
The condition of the injured victims was not immediately available.
Officers closed both lanes of Highway 121 between state highways 116 and 37, but they later reopened.
