Firefighters are at the scene of a 10-acre vegetation fire in the Samuel P. Taylor State Park in west Marin County near Lagunitas this morning.
The fire in the Madrone picnic area was reported at 4:40 a.m., Marin County Fire Department spokeswoman Phoenicia Thomas said.
No injuries have been reported, no structures are threatened and no evacuations have been ordered, Thomas said.
Firefighters from the Ross Valley and Southern Marin fire departments and Cal Fire also responded to the blaze.
The Novato Fire Protection District is staffing the Marin County Fire Department's stations during the response to the fire, Thomas said.
