19-Year-Old Found With Hashish, Meth in Car

Petaluma woman also had stash of illegal prescription pills

A 19-year-old Petaluma woman was arrested Wednesday after being found with hashish, methamphetamine and numerous prescription pills in her car.

A CHP officer spotted Marina Miller weaving while driving on northbound Highway 101 near Corona Road shortly before 8pm Wednesday and pulled her over.

Miller was also found to be intoxicated and in possession of Dilaudid, a derivative of morphine. She was charged with a DUI, possession of illegal prescription medications and illegal substances and transported to jail.

Three teen passengers were released at the scene.

Are you concerned about drug use among local teens? What can be done to curb it?

I'm very concerned. When I moved here over 4 years ago someone told me the nickname for Petaluma was Methaluma. That's very disturbing. I love Petaluma but I think there needs to be stronger laws about teens and pot and they need to be enforced.

Shaking my head again... Think she had enough drugs on board? So disturbing & the problem gets worse by the day!
