Four people were arrested for alleged drunk driving in Petaluma on Friday night and early this morning, police said today.

The arrests happened at locations throughout the city between 11:30 p.m. and 2:30 a.m., according to police.

Three men and a woman, all but one in their 20s, were arrested on suspicion of DUI.

Two of the suspects were found to be driving with a blood alcohol at or over twice the legal limit, according to police.

No injuries were reported.

Police said driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs is one of the top five causes of collisions in Petaluma.

In 2013, Petaluma saw 57 DUI crashes that left 19 people injured, according to police.

This year police have responded to four DUI collisions, including one injury crash. That number is down from the nine DUI crashes and two injuries during the same time period last year, police said.

Petaluma police are reminding the public to call 911 to report drunk drivers.
