Suspect wearing ski mask flashes gun, steals cash at middle of the night robbery Saturday

A masked man robbed a Petaluma 7-Eleven Saturday morning after showing a clerk a gun and demanding money.

The armed robbery occurred at the Eastside 7-Eleven around 2am Saturday at 860 Perry Lane when a man wearing a black jacket, gloves and ski mask entered the store and flashed a gun at the clerk.

He then took an unspecified amount of cash and fled eastbound on Baywood Drive. Police responded to the area, but couldn’t find a subject matching that description.
