Petaluma resident Victor Flores pleaded not guilty Friday in U.S. District Court in San Francisco where he faces racketeering, conspiracy and murder charges stemming from his involvement in a triple murder in South San Francisco two years ago.
Flores, who since then moved to Petaluma and lived with his parents on McNeil Avenue, was one of 19 people arraigned Friday. The arraignment was the result of a multi-agency investigation into the 500 Block and C Street gangs, an offshoot of the Norteno gang, according to a federal indictment.
Flores is one of four men suspected of fatally shooting three others in a drive-by shooting in South San Francisco, believing them to be rival gang members. Three others were shot, but survived the attack.
All four suspects will be eligible for the death penalty if convicted, according to U.S. Attorney Melinda Haag.
