Big-Rig Fire Shuts Down Northbound Hwy 101 Near Santa Rosa

A Sig-alert has been issued on northbound U.S. Highway 101 near Santa Rosa this morning after a big-rig crashed and started burning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

An incident with a big-rig on its side was reported at 8:10 a.m. on the highway near Todd Road, according to the CHP.

The alert was issued at 8:20 a.m. after the truck reportedly crashed and caught fire, according to the CHP. One northbound lane remains closed as of 8:40 a.m.

There is no estimated time for that lane to reopen, according to the CHP.

No injuries have been reported.
