Butter and Egg Days Police Report: Man Beaten Unconscious

Police report states several people involved in fracas, some witnesses uncooperative

Fisticuffs grabbed the spotlight in Petaluma instead of butter or eggs on Saturday afternoon.

A 25-year-old man was found motionless, bleeding from his head on the 100 block of Kentucky Street at 6:12 p.m. Saturday after a fight involving several subjects, according to a Petaluma police report.

Police said the fight escalated from a verbal confrontation to a physical one, when the male suspect struck the victim several times in the head.
