Both directions of state Highway 12 in unincorporated Sonoma County are blocked by a vehicle collision tonight, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The crash was reported near Irwin Lane near Santa Rosa at about 9:35 p.m. and a Sigalert was issued at about 9:45 p.m., the CHP said.
An investigation into the crash is being conducted and motorists are advised to avoid the area, according to the CHP.
There is no estimated time for reopening of the roadway and traffic is being rerouted onto Irwin Lane and then to Occidental Road, the CHP said.
