Highlights from Petaluma Police Department's crime log

Galina Horn, 45, of Petaluma, was arrested Monday, Aug. 1 after she got upset about her dentist bill and threw a glass vase and porcelain mold at a front office worker, in the 1400 block of Professional Drive. She was charged with assault with a deadly weapon.

Tonya Chandler, 43, of Petaluma was arrested Sunday, July 31 on charges of driving under the influence. When stopped by a CHP officer, Chandler was also found to be on probation for a prior DUI conviction.

Nicole Petersen-Hernandez, 21, of Petaluma, was arrested Sunday, July 31, after she was driving under the influence with another person laying on the hood of her car. She also did not have a drivers’ license. Sobriety tests showed that Petersen-Hernandez had an alcohol level of .28 percent, more than four times the legal limit. She was arrested and transported to Sonoma County Jail.

Philip Zuccheli, 26, was arrested on battery charges after getting into a fight at Maguires Pub on Kentucky Street on Sunday, July 31.

Darren Pomponio, 43, was arrested on charges of battery with serious bodily injury at 160 Petaluma Blvd. N. on Saturday, July 30.

Michael Montgomery, 50, was arrested on charges of being in possession of an illegal substance an drug paraphernalia on Saturday, July 30. He was also charged with being in violation of probation and destroying or concealing evidence.

Harold Nelson, 37, of Petaluma, was arrested on charges of stealing a vehicle, Thursday, July 29. He was out on bail from a previous crime.

Jennifer Klein, 36, of Santa Rosa, was charged with assaulting a person and vandalism in the 400 block of North McDowell Boulevard on Wednesday July 27.

All people named in this crime blotter are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
