Dead Body Found Near Railroad Tracks in Petaluma
An unidentified man was found dead Sunday near Caulfield Lane and Hopper Street.
Petaluma Police say a dead body was discovered Sunday afternoon on Caulfield Lane near Hopper Street.
Police received a call at 2:15 p.m. Sunday saying a body had been spotted in that area, according to a press release.
Officers responded to the scene and found the lifeless body of an adult male, according to the press release. The body didn't have any signs of trauma, police said.
The Sonoma County Coroner will investigate the man's cause of death.
