Federal Agents, Police Raid Petaluma Slaughterhouse

A slaughterhouse in Petaluma operated by the Rancho Veal Corp. was raided Friday by U.S.Department of Agriculture. agents and Petaluma police, KPIX 5 TV is reporting.

The facility, said to be the Bay Area’s last remaining slaughterhouse, is at the center of a major federal investigation, the TV station said.
