Four Meet-N-Greets Set with Petaluma Cops

The Spring "Town Hall" are planned by neighborhood over the next two weeks.

Four "Town Hall" meetings with residents and the Petaluma Police Department are planned in April.

Petaluma officers are assigned by specific neighborhoods throughout Petaluma, and these "district officers" want to work with and hear from community members in identifying problems, setting priorities and developing plans to address residents' concerns.

The four sessions will be held in each section of town, as follows:

  • Beat 1 (East of US-101; South of E. Washington): Tuesday, April 8, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Casa Grande High School.
  • Beat 2 (West of US-101; South of Washington St): Wednesday, April 9, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Petaluma Junior High School.
  • Beat 3 (West of US-101; North of Washington St): Tuesday, April 15, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Petaluma Christian Church - 1160 Schuman Lane.
  • Beat 4 (East of US-101; North of E. Washington St): Wednesday, April 16, 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Kenilworth Junior High School
Residents, business owners, school- and faith-based representatives are invited and encouraged to attend.

"By working together," the department said in a statement, "we can better identify problems, set priorities, develop solutions, and provide a higher level of service to the Petaluma community."
