Highway 116 Blocked by Downed Power Lines and Crash

No injuries have been reported.

Both directions of state Highway 116 in Sonoma County are blocked by a vehicle collision and downed wires this morning, according to the California Highway Patrol.

The solo-vehicle collision on Stage Gulch Road, between Lakeville Highway and Adobe Road, was reported at about 4:48 a.m., according to the CHP.

The collision caused downed wires to block the roadway and a small brush fire to burn, according to the CHP.

The CHP said at 7:41 a.m. that it expected to reopen the route in one hour, and warned that traffic on Adobe Road is slow approaching Stage Gulch Road.

No injuries were reported and the cause of the collision remains under investigation.
