Juveniles Who Escaped Probation Camp Caught in Windsor
The three minors escaped from a probation camp in Forestville Monday afternoon.

Three juveniles who escaped a probation camp on Eastside Road in Forestville around 1 p.m. Monday were caught several hours later in Windsor, Sonoma County sheriff's officials said Tuesday.
Deputies and sheriff's helicopter Henry-1 were dispatched to the area of Windsor River Road and Starr Road after a report came in that juveniles matching the escapees' description had been spotted there, according to the sheriff's office.

When the juveniles saw authorities responding, they jumped fences and ran through several yards and into Keiser Park, sheriff's officials said.
Two ran through Windsor High School property but were eventually caught by deputies, and the third was found hiding in a creek in the park near Windsor River Road.

The juveniles were taken into custody about an hour after they were spotted, and were booked into juvenile hall for escaping and fleeing from the deputies. Their names are not being released because of their ages, sheriff's officials said.
