Man Arrested After Brandishing Weapons During Late Night Dinner

Walks up to group of friends and tells them their conversation is "disrespectful"

 

A 35-year-old Sunnyvale man was arrested early Sunday morning after he walked up to a group of people at Denny’s restaurant and laid a gun and a large knife on their table, telling them their conversation was “disrespectful.”

The incident occurred at 2am Sunday, after which the suspect picked up the weapons and walked out of the restaurant. The man, who was later identified as Thomas Hart, of Sunnyvale, was soon located near America’s Best Value Motel, 5135 Montero Way, where he was apprehended.

Hart was arrested for brandishing a weapon and taken to Sonoma County Jail.
