Marijuana, Money Stolen During Home Burglary

Suspects use garage door open to access house

Three suspects broke into a Petaluma home over the weekend, stealing marijuana, a safe, electronic equipment and possibly a firearm, according to the police department.

The burglary occurred Saturday in the 400 block of Lindberg Lane when suspects broke into a car parked outside the home and stole the garage opener. Then they used the opener to get inside the house, located off Lakeville Highway.

Police say there was a marijuana grow inside the home and many people came and went from the residence. The city’s code enforcement department is currently investigating possible violations. It’s not clear whether the homeowner was legally growing the marijuana.

The suspects, described as two men and a woman, were driving a light blue or gray Honda Civic. Anyone who witnessed this incident or has any information regarding this crime is asked to call Officer Farinha at 707-778-4372.
