Petaluma Man Crashes Car, Then Goes Home to Sleep

CHP officers arrive at accident scene to find a car that had run off the embankment and with airbags deployed, but no victim

A 19-year-old man was arrested after he crashed his BWM on Bodega Avenue at Middle Two Rock on New Year's Eve, then left the scene and went home.

Jonathan David Miller, a Petaluma resident, was arrested for driving under the influence after a CHP officer responded to the crash site, but found no one there. The officer then went to Miller's home, where he found him under the influence. When the officer asked Miller where his car was, Miller responded that he crashed it.

A records check revealed that Miller’s driver’s license was suspended, and he is on probation for a DUI violation from past September. Miller was arrested, and charged with DUI, driving while suspended, and violation of probation.
