Petaluma Police Asking for Public’s Help to Explain Woman’s Death

The woman was brought into a local hospital just after midnight.

 

 

Petaluma Police are asking the public’s help in their investigation into the death of a 30-year-old woman who was brought to the Petaluma Valley Hospital emergency room shortly after midnight, Tuesday, August 6.

According to police, there were no visible signs of trauma that would have explained why the woman died but they are classifying her death as suspicious.

The woman was brought to the hospital in a private vehicle.  Investigators from the Petaluma Police Department interviewed several people Tuesday to try and determine where the woman had been prior to her arrival at the hospital.

Police are withholding the woman’s name pending notification to the next of kin.
