36-year-old Felecia M. Humphrey was arrested on Wednesday.

By Bay City News

Police arrested a Petaluma woman this week on suspicion of identity theft.

Felecia M. Humphrey, 36, is suspected of opening up a credit card in a victim's name and charging about $1,500 at stores. The suspect is also known as Felecia Martin, police said.

She also allegedly obtained cash advances in Marin and Sonoma counties in April, according to police.

She visited at least nine stores and restaurants and used the fake credit card, police said.

She was allegedly identified as making the purchases and attempting to get cash at ATMs.

Humphrey was arrested Wednesday and transported to jail.

Her bail was set at $20,000. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Petaluma Police Department at (707) 778-4372.
