An 18-year-old suspect was arrested Sunday morning on charges of vandalizing Petaluma Junior High School. Police responded to the school around 3:30am after neighbors reported sounds of breaking glass. As officers arrived, they located Roberto Garcia-Alvarez, running from the school.

He was reported to be bleeding, and his blood trail led officers to the location of six broken windows at the school. He was arrested for felony vandalism and booked into the Sonoma County Jail.

A burglary from a vehicle was reported Monday 5:50pm on Petaluma Boulevard North. Police did not provide a specific address or cross street.

Ismael Sierra Hernandez, 18, was arrested Monday on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and giving false identification to police.

Jerome and Patina Charon were arrested Monday night on charges of possession of a controlled substance on East Washington Street. Jerome Charon was also charged with violating probation.

Joseph Napoli, 30, was arrested on a bench warrant Monday at North McDowell Boulevard.

Angela Benavides, 31 was arrested on charges of driving under the influence and driving on a suspended license Saturday night at Petaluma Boulevard North and Gossage Avenue.

Iain Tomlinson, 22, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence Saturday night at Petaluma Boulevard North and Gossage Avenue.
