Highlights from the Petaluma Police Department's calls for service

A fraud report was taken on Professional Drive on Monday, Oct. 17. Although police didn’t provide details, it involved someone applying for credit using another’s identification. Police have warned residents to not leave in open mailboxes, but take it directly to the post office.

A car that has been stolen was reported found on Sutter Street on Monday Oct. 17.

Christopher Brown, 40, was arrested for carrying a dagger after being stopped on Lakeville Highway, Sunday, Oct. 16. He was also charged with possession of drugs and committing a felony while on bail, according to police.

Masen Steele, 21, of Petaluma, was charged with driving under the influence on Petaluma Boulevard North on Sunday, Oct. 16.

A car was reported stolen on Drake Court on Saturday, Oct. 15. Another was reported taken on Maria Drive the same day.

Stephen Mather, 45, was arrested on charges of driving under the influence on Saturday, Oct. 15.
