Police Seeking Driver, Passenger in Hit and Run

Pedestrian was struck on Thursday evening in downtown Petaluma

 

Police are asking for the public’s help in locating the owner of a car that struck a pedestrian in downtown Petaluma Thursday night.

A 55-year-old woman was crossing at the intersection of Petaluma Boulevard and B Street when she was hit by a car. She suffered minor injuries.

The suspect car is described as either a white BMW or similar sport utility vehicle, driven by a male driver. After the vehicle struck the woman, the car stopped and the driver spoke briefly with the pedestrian before driving away from the scene.
