SF Man to Stand Trial for Trafficking Daughter in Petaluma Hotel

Kenneth Scarbrough is accused of pimping 15-year-old girl. His trial starts Friday

A San Francisco man who was arrested in December after being caught pimping his foster daughter in a Petaluma hotel goes on trial today, Friday, the Argus Courier is reporting.

Kenneth Scarborough, 58, is a San Francisco resident and was apprehended in a sting set up by Petaluma Police at a motel in northern Petaluma last year. Police say Scarborough brought his 15-year-old foster daughter from Oakland and started setting up liasons for her.

“This case is particularly disturbing because it involves a teenager being prostituted out by someone who is supposed to look out for her,” Petaluma Police Lt. Tim Lyons told the Argus.

The girl is now being held in protective custody at a youth center in San Francisco.

Scarborough been charged with illegally transporting a minor, prostitution, along with multiple drug charges.
