At about 8:05 p.m. Monday evening, the Petaluma Police Dept. received a 911 call from a man stating he was being threatened by his roommate in the 1200 block of Santa Ines Way in Petaluma.
The two had been arguing when Kenneth Wade, a 44-year old Petaluma resident, began threatening the victim with a baseball bat. Wade allegedly swung and missed, striking the wall and causing visible damage, according to Sgt. Andrew Urton.
When the victim called 911, Wade stopped the attack. Police arrived and arrested Wade at the scene, transporting him to Sonoma County Jail.
Wade was charged with assault with a deadly weapon and making death threats, both felony charges.
