Two Thieves Make Off With $1,500 Worth of Wine

Police trying to recover fingerprints from bottles touched by suspects

Police are looking for two men who made off with an estimated $1,500 worth of wine from Safeway Tuesday afternoon.

The suspects entered the store around 5pm, placed 18 bottles of wine into a shopping cart and walked out without paying, police said. A surveillance camera recorded the theft and police are trying to recover fingerprints left on some of the bottles.

The suspects were seen getting into a tan van, similar to a Chevy Astrovan. Anyone with information is asked to call the police at (707) 778-4372.
