Update: U.S. Highway 101 South Traffic Snarled During Lunch Hour

Camper blocks both lanes, SUV lies on top of concrete barrier.

Update 1:45 p.m.: Both lanes of 101 southbound between Novato and Petaluma are blocked by an overturned motor home. Alternate routes are suggested, according to the California Highway Patrol.

According to the Petaluma Argus-Courier, a white SUV towing a camper became lodged on top of a concrete barrier in the No. 2 lane, and the camper was partially blocking the No. 1 lane. 

The Argus-Courier report said congestion had reached the East Washington Street exit in town.
