Pot Brownies, a Trip to the Pumpkin Patch Turns Sour for Couple

A Vallejo man was arrested after he was found intoxicated with three children in his car; burglary reported on Dublin Court.

 

A 21-year-old Vallejo man was arrested on suspicion of child endangerment after he was found driving intoxicated and his three three children with him.

Jessie Garcia was taken into custody at Petaluma Valley Hospital late Wednesday afternoon where he had taken his girlfriend, who got sick after eating pot brownies earlier in the day. The couple told police they were taking their children to the Pumpkin Patch on Stony Point Road, but decided to eat some brownies that had been laced with marijuana.

The woman remained hospitalized Wednesday and the children were released to a family member.

On Tuesday night, a suspect pried open a back window of a home in the 100 block of Dublin Court and ransacked the residence. The person ransacked interior of residence and took only jewelry and small amount of cash.
