Wildfire Breaks Out in Coombsville

The grass fire broke out before 2 p.m., according to the Napa Valley Register.

Smoke is rising from a grassfire in the Coombsville area east of Napa.

The reports the fire broke out before 2 p.m. in the area of Coombsville Road and Jacks Lane and officials were preparing to evacuate residents if necessary.

The City of Napa is handling the response to this fire, according to an alert bulletin we just received from the sheriff's office.

Yes, all is quiet again. No more planes or helicopter overhead! The wind is from the South,away from the town. A sigh of releave for those with breathing problems!
