Wind advisories are in effect this morning on two Bay Area bridges as rain arrives to the region, according to the California Highway Patrol and weather officials.
High wind advisories were issued on the Bay and Richmond-San Rafael bridges at 2:35 a.m. and 4:15 a.m., respectively, according to the CHP. The windy weather has come with a rain system that will pass through the Bay Area today and Sunday, according to the National Weather Service.
Light rain has started this morning, weather officials said, and steady rain at light to moderate intensity is expected to follow. The rain should taper off by late Sunday morning, according to weather officials.
