Center Park Public Workshop

Center Park , located at the intersection of Petaluma
Boulevard and 'B' Street in Downtown Petaluma, will be the topic of a communityworkshop scheduled from 7:00 to 8:30 PM, May 23th at the Petaluma Historical Museum (20 Fourth Street).  The workshop format will focus on assisting with the development short term and long range planningstrategies for the public space. The short and long terms goals will be reviewed with the general understanding that the Redwood trees which occupy the space are showing signs of steady health decline:  At least one mature Redwood tree will not survive in the short term and the remaining two Redwood trees will likely not survive in the long term.   Members of public are encouraged to participate in this workshop.  A brief site visit organized and scheduled at 6:30 PM on the same evening at Center Park will provide a spatial overview of
the existing space.   RSVPs and requests for additional information or clarifications should be emailed to Rod Scaccalosi at rscac@att.net.
