Petaluma River & Creeks Fall Trash Clean Up

Come be part of this community and watershed cleanup event, or contact Jason to register your own local neighborhood event and help us cover more ground! The goal is to pick up any and all trash and debris before it becomes mobilized by winter run-off into our storm drains, creeks, river, bay, and ocean.   Volunteers needed for saturday morning, Sept. 17th on several sites along Petaluma River and tributary creeks.  Sponsored by  Southern Sonoma County Resource Conservation District  and Friends of the Petaluma River.  Volunteers will gather at 8:30am to register, select sites and obtain gloves/supplies.  Meet at 260 North Water Street, downtown Petaluma.  Work hours from 9am to noon.  Individuals and groups welcome!
