The city will hold a special meeting Wednesday to discuss plans to keep Petaluma's redevelopment agency, at a cost of $1.2 million year. There is currently a lawsuit against the state challenging legislation that sought to eliminate redevelopment agencies starting next year.
Meeting starts at 7pm. And on Sept. 6, the city's new finance director will present a new budget for 2011-12.
