Lane Closures on Highway 101 Friday Night

More closures are scheduled for next week.

One northbound lane and one southbound lane will be closed on Highway 101 Friday night, Caltrans announced this week.

The northbound lane will be closed from 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. from the Sonoma County line to the Kenilworth Pedestrian Overcrossing, Caltrans said in a press release.

The southbound lane will be closed from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m.

The entire freeway will also be closed overnight at least two nights next week: Northbound Highway 101 at the Petaluma Boulevard South interchange will be closed from 11:59 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday night. If needed, the freeway might also be closed Thursday.

Southbound Highway 101 will be closed in the same area from 10 p.m. to 4 a.m. Thursday and 11 p.m. to 6 a.m. on Sept. 27.

Detours will be in place for both closures.
