Sonoma Mountain Parkway Improvements Coming Soon

Work will repave roadway, restripe medians and upgrade curbs starting mid July.

Don’t say it never happens!

Next month, road crews will begin a new road improvement project on Sonoma Mountain Parkway between Wyndham Way (just north of East Washington Street) and the south end of the Santa Rosa Junior College campus.

The work will begin mid-July and consist of repaving the roadway, replacing traffic signal loops, restriping of the median and upgrading curb ramps to meet Americans with Disabilities Act guidelines.

Are you excited yet?

Crews will be on site between 7am and 5pm and one lane will be blocked, so expect some delays. In addition, the Sonoma Mountain Parkway entrance to G&G  Market and the south driveway of the JC will also be blocked intermittently. The project should be completed by mid-October, weather permitting.
