Where is the Best Childcare in Petaluma?

This week we are asking readers to decide on the best child care facility in town. Show your appreciation by commenting, voting and rating your favorites! The contest ends at 9 a.m. Friday.

Moms, dads, grandparents too: Here's your chance to tell your neighbors where to find the best child care in Petaluma.

To help proclaim your favorite, there's more involved than just voting in the poll: The winner will be decided by a mixed tally of your votes and positive ratings on the business listings, linked below.

These are new rules, in effect with this week's contest: Comments, while always welcome, are no longer included when we tally the votes at the end of the week.

From now on, your weekly winners will be determined by the ratings on their Petaluma Patch Places business listings and the votes in the poll, with ratings receiving the greatest weight when we tally up the results.

So if you love your child care provider, be sure to leave a rating and a review. The winner receives a handsome certificate to display and bragging rights as Best of Petaluma.

And if you own or manage one of the businesses in our contest, please be sure to "Claim" your listing! This allows you to customize the information that appears on our site, and to thank your loyal customers for the five-star ratings they give you.

Here are the nominees for this week's Reader's Choice Award for best child care in Petaluma (as always, if we've missed something, please tell us in the comments and we'll add it ASAP):

Children's Corner, 4Cs Childcare Center, YMCA, W.H. Pepper Preschool, Shining Star, Carolynn's Montessori, Spring Hill Montessori, Petaluma Village Preschool, Willow Tree School, Little Oaks Montessori, Adobe Christian, St. John's Lutheran, l, North Bay Children's Center, Petaluma Parent Nursery School, Red Barn Montessori, Little Shepherd Lutheran Preschool, Old Elm Child Development Center, KinderCare, Learning to Learn, New Life Christian Fellowship Preschool.

Because this poll is not scientific, it is not the sole consideration in choosing a winner. The winner will be determined by the Patch editor, based on poll results and reviews on Patch Places. Please vote only once per survey, per Patch. Complete contest rules are detailed in the accompanying document.

We'll close the contest Friday at 9 a.m. and announce the winner at noon.

May the best child care provider win!

Just like they question the science of climate change, the right-wingers funding the Drakes BayRead More Oyster Farm's effort to break their deal with the National Park Service now are questioning the peer-reviewed science that led to the decision to end the marine slime and plastic pollution from the corporation's operation. And hate to break it to the author, but Cause of Action is a right-wing funded legal (tax exempt of course) group that takes on conservative causes, such as this effort to overturn the Obama Administration's correct decision to enforce the deal the Lunny's made.
