SRJC Petaluma Campus Invites Public for Tour, Breakfast

After its first year in operation, the Petaluma Campus of the SRJC is ready for its "State of the Campus" close-up, June 7 morning.

The Santa Rosa Junior College Friends of Petaluma Campus Trust invite community members and business leaders to its first annual Building Community breakfast.

The event will be held Thursday, June 7 from 7:30-9 a.m. at the in the Physical Fitness Center, 680 Sonoma Mountain Parkway.

This event is an opportunity to see what the Petaluma campus has to offer the community, including a new state-of-the-art theater, fitness center, library, and classrooms wired for the latest technology.

Connie Mahoney will deliver opening remarks, followed by the address by Dr. L. Jane Saldana-Talley, vice president of the Petaluma Campus.

Frank Chong, SRJC’s new superintendent/president, and new Petaluma resident, will be the featured speaker. An optional tour of the Mahoney Library and Carole L. Ellis Auditorium will immediately follow the event.
