Key to Awesomeness: Mooney has completed 1,000 hours of community service during high school and has been a retreat leader and mentor at the youth ministry program of the Catholic Diocese of Santa Rosa.

He is also a "buddy" in the Challenger Baseball League in Santa Rosa, a program that provides an opportunity for physically and developmentally disabled young people to play baseball. In addition, he has served on the City of Petaluma Youth Commission and participated in Relay for Life, among other service projects.

Wait, there’s more. He was also a reporter and editor of the St. Vincent High School’s newspaper, the Onlooker, and a member of the National Honor Society. When does he get any sleep? In the fall, Mooney will take his energy and talents to Santa Clara University, where he plans to major in business.

We wish him well!
