North Bay Rowing Club and SSU Crew invite the community to come out to the Marina and Shollenberger Park to enjoy this spectacular event, free to the viewing public. 500+ junior, collegiate and masters rowers compete for medals on this beautiful, protected 5,000-meter "head" race. Vendors and pre- and post-race crews will be at the Sheraton parking lot all day. Petaluma Wetlands Alliance docents partner in the event, keeping visitors on the paths and answering questions about our wetlands. Community Bikes Petaluma provides a five-bike corral as well as pedicab services, allowing visitors to get out to the fishing pier/viewing platform in comfort and style. Food and beverages, athletic clothing, ice cream during the lunch hour, and jewelry made of vintage medals available for sale. Come out and watch rowers race, and enjoy a day at Shollenberger Park!
