No dance experience required, just a wish to boogie! Shake out the cobwebs and get your groove on to eclectic, fun and funky music. An informal optional warmup leads into a free-form dance session exploring different rhythms and styles, isolations, control and abandon, with a final cooldown and short relaxation. This class is mostly self-led with occasional suggestions from the instructor, so you can moderate the pace and intensity yourself. The environment we wish to create is one of mutual respect, encouragement, and fun, so the class really is appropriate for everybody.

Instructor Alia Curchack-Beeton holds a BFA and Gold Medal in Dance and is a certified yoga teacher since 2003. She has studied and performed various forms of dance since childhood, and brings to her classes deep body awareness, dynamic warmth, and an infectious joy of movement!
