See future possibilities for Petaluma River recreation at an Open House 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday January 11 at the Community Center (320 N. McDowell Blvd).
As indicated in the 1996 River Access and Enhancement Plan, Petaluma Water Ways spells out more than 7 miles of waterfront trail and multiple access points for citizens to use the river and waterfront recreationally –- for walking, cycling, fishing, bird and wildlife watching, boating, landscape painting, or relaxing.
Local residents and community partners are invited to learn about and get involved in this collaborative effort to implement the River Access and Enhancement Plan (subsequently included in the Central Specific Plan and General Plan 2025).
