TGIF Zumba Gold

Zumba® Gold with Diana     Are you looking for a great way to unwind from your work week or merely want to get out to get fit?  If so, consider dancing with me on Fridays (TGIFZumba® Gold), beginning May 4, 2012 at the North Bay Performing Arts Center in Petaluma, Contessi Ballet.

Zumba® Gold dance-fitness creates a dynamic and effective total body workout, specifically designed to bring a medley of exciting international dance rhythms (primarily Latin), such as Salsa, Flamenco, Cha cha, Cumbia, Tango, Merengue, but also includes Swing, Country-Western, and more via easy-to-follow, low-to-no impact dance steps, along with elements of fitness, to active older adults, boomers, or beginners. Like, Zumba® fitness, Zumba® Gold provides the same friendly and fun dance-party atmosphere, while also benefiting multiple fitness components: strength, balance, flexibility, cardiovascular endurance, and coordination.  Zumba® Gold is accessible to most everyone, regardless of age or skill level and fosters self-confidence and well-being. No dance experience is necessary.

Meet your instructor: Diana Scranton is licensed to teach Zumba® and Zumba® Gold; is American Senior Fitness Association-certified (ASFA); and is a Dance for Parkinson’s Disease Instructor with over twenty-six years working in the field of adult fitness.
