Go Mustangs! Win No. 6 for Varsity Baseball

The St. Vincent de Paul High School Mustang Varsity Baseball team beat Point Arena Monday 13-3 in 6 innings to post their 6th win of the season.

In this non-league contest, St. Vincent blasted 13 hits and were never contested throughout the game.

Sophomore pitcher Dominic Pedersen had an impressive showing as he threw no-hit ball through the first 3 innings.

The hit barrage was led by Senior Joe Purtell who went 3×3 with a double and 6 RBIs. Purtell has a consecutive hit streak going over the last two games with 6 straight hits and 7 RBIs.

Senior Patrick Garcia also has a hitting streak going as he has at least one hit in the last eight games.

The Mustangs travelled to Upper Lake Tuesday for a league contest. Current record for the team is 6-4 overall and 1-0 in league play.
